By merger with buntmetall amstetten Ges.m.b.H.

From 1.1.2010, Enzesfeld-Caro Metallwerke AG is merge with buntmetall amstetten Ges.m.b.H. Amstetten is the company's head office. We are going on to be an even more efficient partner for semi-finished and finshed products made from copper and copper alloys.

Foundry

In our foundry more than 100 different copper alloys are produced on modern horizontal and vertical continuous casting installations. As well as being directly supplied to our customers castings go on to further fabrication in our own works or in the works of our sister, buntmetall amstetten.

Drawing shop

In our drawing shop wrought copper alloys in the form of bars, tubes and profiles are produced. Special trademarks are the heavyduty material Carobronze (CuSn8P), age-hardenable Carodur (CuNi) and the special Caro444 (CuSnPbZn).

Bushes

Main products are CAROBRONZE®-plain bearing bushes and -plain bearings and maintenance free CAROPLUS®-bearings with self-lubricating, produced on most modern CNC machines.

Roller bearing cages

The roller bearing cages production is equipped with state-of-the-art CNC and automatic machines. We are specialised in the production of precision solid brass cages for almost all types of bearings.

AUSTROROLL roller device

AUSTROROLL®, is a maintenace free roller device for railway switch points. A patented system which is used for several years by all international railways.
