Decrease of costs caused by errors and decrease of complaints

Complaints offer the opportunity to commence direct communication with the customer and to provide an immediate and satisfying solution.

Our aim is the primary recognition and elimination of deviations and irregularities during the process, but also in advance of this, through appropriate testing methods.

Open team discussions about current problems help to reach and achieve solutions.

The zero defect philosophy at ECM means: Zero defects for the customer

Continuous improvement in the quality of products and services

Quality is not only important when talking about products. Every single employee, irrespective of whether they work towards the net profit or in a supporting process make their own contribution to the overall success.
Our employees are therefore encouraged to make corrective suggestions and to take an active part in a continuous improvement process within their own areas.

We reward corrective and preventive measures in the CARO Ideas Competition.

Error prevention instead of "tested" quality

Thanks to increased integrated inspection steps during the production process we aim to recognize and correct any possible deviation right from the beginning.

Preventive measures are in place to help identify potential errors and to avoid them in advance by taking the appropriate actions.

Each effective prevention of error saves costs and strengthens our competitiveness.

Safe processes lead to continuity

Only if we are aware of the key parameters and volumes of our processes do we know which responses to apply to which actions, and this is how our processes can be run under safe conditions.

Our installations undergo periodic testing and qualification measures to ensure that processes can be run according to the standards.

Clear demarcations leave nothing to chance

We have set clear demarcations in order to optimise communications from the processing through to customer delivery and to minimize any potential defects.
