Our company is the leading producer and processor of non-ferrous metals in Austria. On the following page you will find information about the production and usage of products manufactured in our foundry.

• Ø175 +1/-3 mm
• Ø234 +1/-3 mm
• Ø300 +1/-3 mm

Due to the required quantity we also produce special dimensions for customers.

Application

Products manufactured in our own foundry are further processed at our own works or within our companies group. At the Enzesfeld works, the products manufactured in our foundry are mainly used as pre-material for the production of drawn products and cages.

At the factory in Amstetten, the billets are extruded to form rods, tubes and sections.

Renowned customers such as Vaillant and Linde put their trust in the products made at buntmetall amstetten.

Environmental protection / public

Of all the raw materials used, 40 to 50 % constitute material produced within our internal recycling system (scraps, etc.).This is a major contribution to achieving production that is not harmful to the environment and which preserves valuable resources.

Thanks to investments in filtering installations we have been able to dramatically reduce the accumulation of dust that is harmful to the environment.

Furthermore, and with the support of Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), we have re-instituted the siding tracks inside our works.Now that we can transport billets to Amstetten by railway there are approximately 1,000 fewer trucks on the street. This is equal to 130,000 truck kilometres per year.
